The Parking Cowboys Survey

The private parking industry makes a number of bold claims as justification for imposing their ‘fines’ on motorists. They claim they’re required to protect the land owners rights and without it there would be Carmegeddon™. In defence of the industry, the British Parking Association regularly recites a claim that 80% of motorists will never receive a parking ticket, seemingly inferring that the 20% of motorists are fair game. As an analogy, I’m pretty sure 99.9% of the population are not affected by gun crime…

Here at ParkingCowboys we strongly suspect that the majority of recipients of private parking tickets are genuine customers as opposed to people abusing the facilities (e.g. whilst they go to work). We also suspect that the by issuing tickets it will damage trade. What we don’t have is the evidence to prove our supicions. This is where our new survey comes in.

If you have received a private parking ticket, please complete our survey. It will only take 1 minute of your time. Thank you!

  1. I got a ticket at Aldi said reg no not been tapped in, it had actually but my daughter had put it in wrong way round, I got it cancelled after phoning Aldi Customer Service, took them about 3mins to sort it, why couldn’t Parking Eye do this simple thing.

Simple, because it wouldn’t make them money, far too quick asking for £70 (or £40 if paid within 14 days) think these parking cowboys are out of control.
