Where can I find any information/advice re legally how clear car park surface markings/signage should be i.e. Is there a case for appeal if said surface markings are faded/not clear

Hi Guy. I assume you’re talking about a private car park? If so, there are no laws that govern this, and its also not covered by the Code of Practice for the BPA.I suspect the only way this would work as an appeal point is if you can show clearly how it caused you to allegedly breach the car park’s rules (including pictorial evidence). Even so, I suspect it would be a bit of a lottery as to whether your appeal was upheld or not given the nature of the private parking appeals systems. I would suggest you include this point, but also make sure you have a layered defence of as many relevant points as possible.
